I always enjoy visiting the Grand Canyon. You can never truly grasp the enormity and vastness of the vistas before your eyes when you’re there, because you lose ALL sense of scale, nor can you truly   more...comprehend that the oldest rocks within the Inner Gorge at the bottom of Grand Canyon date back to almost two billion years ago.
