Some photos of some of the flowers currently in bloom in my garden. Allium (the first time neighbourhood kids haven't either taken the blooms for a gift for their mother or just knocked them off), Weigela,   more...and Herb Robert. In a few days the wild strawberries should ripen.

I can't walk across the yard until they do as the entire back lawn is strawberries -- tiny and sweet. Yum!  less

After I took Topaz to the vet, and gave her a bath, I did gardening.

Can you name the flowers that are in bloom in my garden? I will be adding more as time goes on. I love gardening.

I've been very busy with landscaping. I will be adding more flowers later on. I really love perennials.

They are (in order) Grape leaf, Allium (garlic family)   more...seed head, Chive flower, Anemone.  less

Judith had asked for photos of the garden. These are some I took today. Unfortunately, because of all the rain in the last few weeks not only are the plants very "leggy" but the flowers are   more...somewhat the worse for wear.

I picked the last (or what I THOUGHT were the last) of the ripe wild strawberries which have spread across the lawn. Afterwords I mowed and there were hundreds of unpicked ripe ones squashed and mangled across the yard.

The flowers that you see (in no particular order) are Peonies, Explorer Roses, Anemones, Allium seed heads, Chives, Daisies, Mock Orange, Honeysuckle, Evening Primrose buds, Grape vines, and a rare wild Clematis which rooted itself in the garden (not in bloom until the end of the summer).  less

It has been raining heavily, as well as thundering steadily all day (little actual lightning). I thought I would show off my messy garden. I took some footage of my strawberries but I did it so quickly   more...that you actually saw more of my feet while I turned off the camera than you saw of the strawberries.  less
