Hatton-Brown Publishers was privileged to host the welcome reception when the American Loggers Council convened its annual meeting in Montgomery, Ala. September 25-27. The reception is sponsored each   more...year by Bituminous Insurance Companies.
Participating were some 200 loggers, spouses, association leaders and equipment representatives, who were warmly greeted by the H-B team. Visitors were particularly attracted to bound volumes of old issues of Timber Harvesting and Southern Loggin’ Times and also to computer screens showing historical logging video, photos and ads from previous issues and the names of those registered for the ALC meeting.
H-B’s offices are located on one of the highest points in the city and overlook the Alabama River. Clear, comfortable weather, a nice sunset and great view, combined with hospitality and Mexican fare prepared on site, made the event one to remember.  less
