I don’t think it’s right for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence to go into that Catholic church in costume   more...to mock it. The people who go to that church have the right to practice their faith in peace, if the Sisters want to protest or mock the Catholic religion they can do it outside the church. This is a 1st Amendment issue.  less

Esperanza Fire, Oct, 2006 : A California Highway Patrol officer does his best to prevent a news crew from covering a deadly forest fire, even ignoring his orders from dispatch to "allow the media   more...in" and threatening instead to arrest the news crew. Federal Law prevents law enforcement from restricting the movement of the news media except that they are not permitted in a crime scene.  less

In this disturbing exchange we see former head of the NSA, General Michael Hayden, argue with reporter Jonathan Landay that the words "probable cause" are not found in the Fourth Amendment.   more...I don't want to spoil the suprise for you, but "probable cause" is the measure for issuing a warrant in the Fourth Amendment. Of course, I would find this exceptionally humorous had not Bush recently appointed this man to be the new head of the CIA.  less
