livevideo is violating the law of the land by not honoring fair use exceptions to the US copyright law.
This is absolutley fair use! I use only a small protion and it is an entirely new work.
It has the   more...proper CR statement on it warning that further use is restricted. It properly credits the source (US archive)
I would say that the president stepping on the accepted symbol of America (I pledge allegience to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all) is a louder message than any flag burning could ever have been.
Who will crush the head of this snake? The newly elected president who was stripped of his US citizenship and has foreign nationals in his cabinet?

There was no justification for removing the video. I used 18 seconds of audio, with one still frame in order to comment on an extremely serious matter where the President of the United States makes another false statement. I also used 7 seconds of video without audio to critique the segment as well (it showed the interviewer and Bush). This is in a 70 second video that I present as my news analysis. This CLEARLY falls under Fair Use. My video has been pulled off of YouTube and this notice is in its place: "This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner CBS Broadcasting, Inc because its content was used without permission" That is BS. I have a right under Fair Use to use 18 seconds of audio and 7 seconds of video to analyze an extremely important issue of the day. If what I did in this video is not "Fair Use" then nothing is.

A: No, I could but I won't because Cartoon Network has requested that Ben 10: Alien Force episodes that are uploaded to YouTube be removed. I wish to not be banned from this site so I won't infringe on their copyright. I'm going to buy the DVD of this show when it comes out anyway. It doesn't really matter since you can watch them at Veoh.com if you look up the show.
Q: Why don't you have anything from the new episode "Pier Pressure"?
A: There's not enough time. YouTube has a 10 minute time limit for uploaded videos so I didn't want to go over the time limit.
This highlight reel is not perfect because my brain was too tired to make sure it was :"perfect" but I did my best. At least it's up and finished.

I little video I made about EA Games' new release Spore and the ridiculous DRM on it and how it's driving normally paying customers to pirate it.

Also, about how DRM is useless and annoys good paying customers. My thoughhts on backig up DVDs and putting movies and TV shows on our iPods and how not all of us want to upload movies to bittorrent.  less
