I think this is footage from USS Constellation   more...in the Vietnam era when something went wrong with a Phantom. No doubt it is all over YT and so on for more info if you must.  less

Smart Bombs: these are nothing new. The military has been putting brains in bombs from mid-WW2 through Vietnam to the GWs. Here we see various US aircraft blowing things up - the mighty F111 and F4 as   more...well as the B17 dropping the WW2 Bat against ships and A10s and F/A-18s. A fascinating doc this showing how it can be done IMO.  less

SO YOU THINK A PASSENGER JET CAN MAKE IT THROUGH A BUILDING ?

Duxford IWM has planes from all eras. Here they had posed two former enemies: a MiG 21 and F4 Phantom adjacent. Not really because the F4J was an ex-RAF plane owned by the Hannas. While I was having a   more...film all around the various bits of these jets the Grumman F8 Bearcat came into the circuit and did an impromptu display routine. This is also sad for me as years before we had been passing Duxford and saw Stefan Karwowski beating up the airfield. Still on the sad theme, the ill-fated P38 Lightning turned up with the P51 Mustang. Finally, you can have a quick look at the TSR2 which was outside and the ADV Tornado.  less

On January 23, 2009 I was enjoying a nice ride. I came to an intersection and I had the right away. A car on the intersecting street was stopped at a stop sign. The driver did not see me and proceeded   more... more...into the intersection. By the time I saw the car I was 10 feet away and couldn't do anything. I collided with the front quarter panel of the car, flipped over the bars and over the car and landed 15 feet away from the accident scene. I survived, my bike did not. I only survived without injury because I was wearing all of my gear.  less
