CLANNAD is easily the most anticipated show of the season for me because of all the great things I’ve heard about the original game coupled with Kyoto’s Animation’s record of beautifully animated and   more...faithful adaptations. Having such a talented cast too - including Nakahara Mai, Kanda Akemi, Kuwashima Houko, Nonaka Ai, Inoue Kikuko, and Noto Mamiko - is just icing on the cake. I’ve been trying my best not to read up on the story before seeing this, so all I’ll say about it here is that it starts with a troubled delinquent whose life changes when he meets the main heroine.  less

This Week In Lacrosse Episode 12

Shinichiro is a student living in what would be a dream come true for most high school boys, but for him is mostly a frustration. A well liked girl in school named Hiromi has lived in his house for a   more...year along with his family. Her father was a close friend of the family, and when he died they immediately took her in. She is popular and well liked, always smiles, is talented in sports- but Shinichiro knows there must be tears inside her. Having an artistic tendency, he makes watercolours of her and thinks about wishing to ease her tears. Yet he cannot bring up the nerve to talk to her even in his own home. She, too, is quiet and withdrawn in their house, quite unlike at school. Shinichiro is also distracted by teasing from his friend Nobuse for watching Hiromi from afar, a curse of bad luck from a strange girl named Noe, and being forced to perform Muhiga dancing. By helping Noe he hopes to ease his own problems, yet he seems to have difficulty helping himself.  less

In true fashion to the many Sonic the Hedgehog games, Sonic X features the Sonic gang racing to collect the powerful Chaos Emeralds before the more...powerful Dr. Eggman does.

The three Minami sisters (Haruka, Kana and Chiaki) live together, taking care of each other. With nobody to answer to but themselves and each other, the three sisters get up to some very odd shenanigans.

Blue Drop is the story of two girls: one who is the sole survivor of a mysterious incident where all the people of an island disappeared, and the other who is an alien sent to Earth to do reconnaissance   more...for an invasion. Like the manga it’s based on, the anime looks to have yuri themes (the aliens only have one gender - female), and as it’s been a while since I’ve watched a yuri show, I’m looking forward to seeing how it turns out. The animation quality looks like it’ll be really good too, so I’ve got my fingers crossed in hopes that this won’t disappoint  less
