This is a fun one! I got my 7 year old son a BioDome kit for christmas. We have to wait for the warmer months for most of it, but the kit came with triops eggs and food. We took a shot with a little,   more...and this critter is the results. Only one made it to adulthood, but it is a fascinating critter to watch. We still have lots more eggs and food, aand they will eat tropical fish food flakes if you grind them up a bit with your fingers. This thing went from an almost imperceptible spec to this in a very short time. It already developed egg sacs, and will probably lay them in a few days.  less

We did this at our "meeting" for Zero Velocity. You really have to watch it a few times to see everything.

He scrambles them...

My angelfish ls laying eggs for the very first time at 9 months of age. There is no male angelfish, but I'm planning to get one very soon. I had to take the eggs out just after she laid them.
