The Tulsa metro area added 1,700 non-farm jobs in August, giving it a total of 425,700 jobs. But that’s still a loss of 2,600 jobs from August 2007. The area’s health care sector is looking to fill jobs. Engineers, designers and specialized accountants also are needed. Tulsa is the second-largest city in Oklahoma and the 45th-largest in the United States. It has a population of 384,000.  less
