Contrary to popular belief, this is not something amazing.

In fact, I tested this out with an AI battle before this. The result: Although DC got the first two rounds, Blaziken managed to win the other   more...three.

Now shut up about Dragon Claw. I rate him as only Level 40 on a scale of 1 to 100.

P.S.: Usually, I'm a bit of a stickler for using a character's "First Pallete", unless there is a reason for me using an alternate (Chris in FMF6.5 is an exception to this), and here, I have a reason for using a different pallete for Dragon Claw. Can you guess why?  less

This is my closest fight yet.

I won't fight the evil duo anymore but I'll still fight Dragon Claw. Dragon Claw was one of the first characters I ever downloaded for mugen.

Again, did it for fun. It is the first time I fight him with Ky. Luckily, Dragon Claw hits much less hard than Reu's Evil Ryu and Evil Ken.

I take on Mr. Fireworks himself! I really don’t think Dragon Claw needs an intro, but I’ll do it anyways. Dragon Claw is a character by Reu, yes, the same guy that brought us the evil duo. I don’t know   more...if Most_Mysterious or The_None have anything against DC, but if it’s from Reu, they probably do, and I don’t blame them. Dragon Claw is one of the biggest combo whores in all of Mugen. He can turn 1 combo into another as long as he has super energy left, and all of them are fire based. He’s just a big fireworks show for Mugen.

Note: Yeah, I know I didn’t finish him with a big super move, but I don’t really hate this guy as much as Evil Ken or Evil Ryu, that and the fact that he’s just to fast too do certain super moves on. He usually hides behind invincibility frames and then comes in with a combo.

This time, I battle JSHomer in a heated match.

Jezus, wasn't that first round suspenseful. I've gotten   more...used to the punch combo now, so that shouldn't be a problem for now on. I also tried arial raves but failed horribly. I'm enjoying this more and more.

Dang. My descriptions are considerably shorter than with Ella's MUGEN. That's because with this, I'm focusing on how I improve my skills with Dragon Claw instead of whom I fight. And the story...there is no spoon. 'nuff said.

And it looks like the BGM noticed the epic proportions of this battle, so it let itself out in time.  less

Faust concluded that Dragon Claw's A.I. simply needed to be fine-tuned. And so, another test was run.

I crawl up DC's steep learning curve some more. This   more...time, I fight Peter.

I like how I played here much better than in my battle with Kenshin. I played the offensive and utilized Flash Step like it should. I also pulled the fireworks on Peter =P

Faust was furious. After all the effort put into this mechanical warrior, it was almost defeated by a simulation of an ordinary martial arts specialist. Faust almost destroyed the project altogether,   more...but was convinced not to by his subordinators.

He decided to give it another shot.

Bleh, this match looks kinda shitty. Kenshin was annoying me with his long range and effeminate voice, and I was struggling to land a combo and later on the fireworks show you all know and love. I almost got it to work the second round, but Kenshin died. Pity. The next match is a LOT less awkward.  less

Evening fell over the secret hideout as Faust implemented the last containts needed to activate the construct's conscience. He called over all the clones; even the two guarding the entryway. This would   more...be a grand moment. Faust carefully stowed the structure into the mechanical orb and triggered it. All that's left now is to wait and see.

It opened its eyes. It saw a glimpse of reality. But then it was pushed into a fake one. The professor's experiment experienced its first thinking, and immediately recognized a series of commands and habits it never learned.

That's right. My internet was screwed up for a while. I got bored. When I get bored, I do shit like this. I play as Reubenkee's Dragon Claw.

Aside from being an orgasm to the eyes, DC has a surprisingly original way of fighting. He's the only character I know that has long, fixed ground and air combos (and boy, they're hard to do). DC has a series of lvl 1 supers, and chains them to give the impression of lvl 2 and higher. Each of those supers has an alternate version which is regularly triggered when three supers are chained together. However, there's also a 10 percent chance when a super is done normally.

DC is so fucking hard to use. The skill required to use him is relative to how high-tier he his, making his AI the worst abomination to ever befall any character. With all the crap that would otherwise be revolutionary, DC is stuck with the cheap label since his AI is as such. Marioandsonic was damn right to send that e-mail. On a side note, the readme implies that TMasta, POTS, Valodim, Aiduzzi and a crapload of other people were invloved in the DC project (mainly bugtesting, palettes and ideas), making it all the more a shame that DC is so frowned upon.

This video was recorded with hardware accelarators active, so the framerate is lethargic. I've been training with DC a while after making this video, and my skills are starting to take shape. I can already perform the kick combo on a regular basis and found a chain that triggers the Launcher Super's meta version. The slashing combo is still a bit too fast for me, let alone doing a flash step and a super immediately after. One thing I really can't be arsed to master is aerial raves.

I play once again as ElecByte's Kung Fu Man, and I pit him against the elite Reubenkee creation, Dragon   more...Claw! Can old-fashioned martial arts defeat a show-off pyromaniac combo-whore character?

NOTES: KFM is COMPLETELY UNEDITED. Dragon Claw is also completely unedited. Once again, I had to play opportunistically, as KFM is such a low-tier character. On the second round, Dragon Claw had pretty much won that round, so I simply let KFM bite it. Dragon Claw may abuse his counters and evasions, but if you play extremely aggressive, you can break through and do serious damage to Dragon Claw using any character.
