The Metromedia Producers Corporation logo.

This was uploaded by BobGaret81 from Youtube several months ago before he closed his bloody account. I really like this logo because it represents the goodness of what a logo is. The music I think fits   more...very well with the rainbow ribbon and the animation for this is pretty awesome. The previous logo the MCP was pretty ugly and the orchestrated music sounded like garbage. So yeah this one was indeed a vast improvement over the 1968 Metromedia logo. Enjoy!!  less

Logicalsmash has this dailymotion currently but I figured I go ahead and upload this sucker. Here's the godawful and i mean GODAWFUL logo for Metromedia. First thing is first is the animation, even for   more...it's time, the animaton for this logo is so low-budget that it makes static logos look good. Second, the music for this logo is just mediocre at best. I mean it's not the worst thing out there as far as logos but they could've done/ chose something better. Third, the color scheme. I can't believe for a color scheme that they put green (and I'm a big fan of the color green because I'm part Irish) against yellowish-white. I think that this color scheme and the P.I.T.S films have the worst color scheme of any logos period. Fourth, the overall design. The design of this logo is probably not too bad for it's time, but they could've done a lot better. This logo's design is ugly and believe me I've seen ugly looking logos ( Viacom V of Doom, Saban's Rings of Saturn, and Dic Green Vortex ). This logo overall is more a horrible looking thing than it is scary and one more thing that's wrong with it that I'm bitching at: it's only last :03 seconds to see the dang thing.
