This was a staged crash for traffic school. The train was going about 40-45 mph. This was a demonstration from the local police dept for traffic violations.

Hornet - me messing about again. Am I mad - filming the TV? Well, yes and no. Obviously it's a good idea to shut up when doing such things. You catch the tail end of me talking to my brother-in-law hence   more...my grunts coz he talks too much.
Basically I had the camcorder plugged into the laptop and filming. This gives you a file ready for upload so it's worth a go. Trouble is, this tv is our old Sony CRT and you get i/f bands. Will try it with the new Panasonic plasma which I think will be better.
MW I have overcome the problem with the Panasonic DV recorder (for now) by blowing a fan over it with the back off to keep it cool while dubbing. Lordy what a pain and for what?  less
