Another Repeat!

Re-encoded for live video.

Better late than never..

While I was in Peru I had a major problem with my laptop which resulted in the loss or damage of most of my pictures and video files.

Recovering and repairing the files has been   more...a slow process and while I still haven't managed to get the video files to a usable state I've managed to recover enough pictures to make this small slide show.

PS; Dose anyone know how to attach new headers to truncated .MP4 Video files? If you even understand that Question, then you may be able to help me make my Peru videos playable.  less

Here I am traveling on the Teleférico in Santiago, Chile

This has been around on YouTube for a few months but as I just Uploaded the C. T. Peru video fro the first time I thought maybe this would make a good companion for it.

The Colca Canyon in Peru is the   more...deepest in the world and has only recently been connected to the outside world by road, large areas of it are still unexplored and it still takes the best part of a day to get there fro the nearest town.

Once there you can see lots of wonderful things including Condors...

Just a Vlog to explain whats been going on in the Cozzmoverse since I returned to the UK.

Since I got back to the UK Iv been ill, I even spent a day in hospital with a drip in my arm, fortunately it turned out to be something much more minor than was first thought and I'm feeling a bit better   more...now.

So this is just to say I'm working on some new videos the first of which should be appearing sometime in the next couple of weeksNew,videos,cozzmix  less

BACK IN THE U.K. !

I new at some stage I would have to make the CoZzMiX Travels Easter Island video and I new that capturing the essence of Easter Island would not be easy.

After the first week I realized that all the TV   more...documentaries I had watched before coming here had not come close to showing the fusion of landscapes and culture.

After 3 days of editing and re editing my footage, experimenting with various soundtracks and text comments I still didn't like what I saw when I hit preview. Something was still missing.

So with my head in my hands I wandered up to the cliffs to watch the sun set behind the Moai as I did every evening in Rapa Nui (the name the local residents call the Island they love). As I sat there with the sun slowly burning dots onto my retina I heard the Moai whisper to me, “Make it fun” they said. They where of course much older and wiser than me and what they had said was true, what I and all those documentary crews before me had missed was the fact that Rapa Nui is a fun place with lots of opportunity's to see and experience things that you never expected.

When the sun had finally disappeared over the blue, orange and red horizon I came back, deleted my project file and started again.

What you see here took about 1 hour to put together, its not technically perfect and it doesn't show everything there is to see (I figure if you ever come here you will want to discover some things for yourself) but I enjoyed making it and I like the finished result, I hope you like it too...  less
