Se incorpora en el bando municipal la consulta popular y la iniciativa ciudadana, figuras de la democracia participativa que permitirán a los o ecatepenses proponer políticas   more...públicas y reformar a reglamentos.

El Primer Regidor Javier Rivera Escalona comenta lo anterior e informa cuánto gana el presidente municipal y regidores, quienes se redujeron el salario a un tercio de lo que percibían los priístas.

El presidente municipal priísta saliente ganaba mensualmente 226 mil pesos mientras que el alcalde actual José Luis Gutiérrez Cureño gana 76 mil pesos.

Los regidores en la administración pasada ganaban 166 mil pesos y en la actual perciben 62 mil pesos.

Asi mismo, el regidor Rivera Escalona informó sobre los preparativos que se hacen en Ecatepec y el estado de México para participar masivamente en la Convención Nacional Democrática del 21 de marzo convocado por López Obrador.
