*Which* religion of fear?
I'm neither pro-Muslim nor pro-Christian. I'm pro-humanity. ;-) (sorry. i couldn't help it). After quite the bombing campaign, missionaries are now in Iraq. As Europeans spread   more...Christianity with fear & violence, Islam is spreading throughout Europe with (only a fraction) of such violence.

Surely modern day individuals shouldn't be responsible for what others have done, but the way the culture of Islam is spreading isn't too dissimilar from the way the culture of Christianity was & is spread. We have no reason to expect Islam to be any more peaceful than Christianity. Case in point, today or yesterday, this is the way religion is spread, by being forced upon cultures.  less

The troubles Southern provinces of thailand go back to its own past and the imperial legacy of the Thai kingdom. Though Thailand remains a predominantly Buddhist country, it should be remembered that   more...the people of Thailand are culturally diverse. In the south, the population has always been predominantly Malay and history will show that the Malays of the South have had a history and identity of their own.  less

Religious factions will go on imposing their will on others unless the decent people connected to them recognize that religion has no place in public policy. They must learn to make their views known   more...without trying to make their views the only alternatives.  less
