More than 1,000 dinosaur footprints along with tail-drag marks have been discovered along the Arizona-Utah border. The incredibly rare concentration of beastly tracks ranging from 1 to twenty inches,   more...likely belonged to at least four different species of dinosaurs, ranging from youngsters to adults. "The different size tracks may tell us that we are seeing mothers walking around with babies," said researcher Winston Seiler, a geologist at the University of Utah. The tracks were laid about 190 million years ago in what is now the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument. "There must have been more than one kind of dinosaur there," said researcher Marjorie Chan, professor and chair of geology and geophysics at the University of Utah. "It was a place that attracted a crowd, kind of like a dance floor." While the site is covered in sand dunes now, the researchers say the tracks are within what was a network of wet, low watering holes between the dunes. The tracks provide more evidence of wet intervals during the Early Jurassic Period, when the U.S. Southwest was covered with a field of sand dunes larger than the Sahara Desert.  less

With the rise of gas prices throughout the summer the US has been forced to evaluate its future energy policy.In Calvert Cliffs, Maryland, state residents could see the effects of a proposed third reactor   more...in terms of jobs. Unistar/Constellation Energy says building a third reactor would create 4,000 temporary construction jobs and 360 permanent jobs.Offering a different remedy, a study conducted by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy claims 12,000 “green” jobs could be added to the state by 2025. A speedrun of Criss Kross Cliffs. This level is hard but this run turned out a LOT better than I thought it was going to. I move pretty fast and take advantage of this level's quirks (namely making Buzzes   more...disappear from the screen which can sometimes allow steel barrels to continue firing up). Oh, and I didn't mess up when going right after the second bonus barrel -- I had to do that or else the barrels wouldn't fire. Weird level... this doesn't happen on the GBA version, though...
