Our beloved 11 year old cat Li'l Black Sambo ("Sam") was diagnosed with feline breast cancer on July 19, 2006 and the vet said Sam only had a month to live. Sam is a very adaptable and courageous little soul. She loves to look out the window; people in passing cars wave to her. When you see her head pop up out of the camera frame, she's watching some kids watching Her, from another car.
Sam has Feline Mammary Adenocarcinoma, has had the original lump removed, and so far has outlived her vet's original prognosis of 6 weeks back in mid-July 2006. Sam, my darling black cat, has feline mammary adenocarcinoma -- breast cancer. The lump on her stomach was removed July 19, 2006. It's January 17, 2007 and Sam and her Mama and Daddy are in the car,   more...on the way to the University for carboplatin chemo treatments. Sam is doing very well, the residual cancerous lumps are gone. She likes to ride in the car and look out the window. My good old buddy whom I've known forever drove 40 miles to meet us for breakfast while Sam the Black Cat with Mammary Adenocarcinoma is at the University getting her chemo treatment. She knew I was   more...worried about Sam, and to distract us, and give us a place to hang during future treatments, showed us where the Mall is, since we don't know our way around this town.
