Seaplane forgets to retract its tired and ends up flipping over when it lands on the lake.

While going through some old unmarked VHS tapes, I found this salvagable clip taken back in our skydiving days. This is some old footage of Dave and myself from around 1993 or 94. We never gave much thought   more...to video cameras back then and to make matters worse, most of the small amount of footage that we did shoot, I taped TV shows over. Sorry for such a small clip, this is all that I could find so far and it is surrounded by old TV shows.  less

A cat is perfectly calm as it rides on the dash of plane coming in for a landing.

Flying to Stehekin in my Cessna 172 for flyfishing. There are no roads to Stehekin - boat, hike, horse, or airplane are the only ways to get there.

A two-seater light plane crash landed at the Tagbilaran City airport in Bohol province Wednesday morning.

Superintendent Eleodoro Ocampo, assistant director for operations of the Philippine National Police   more...Aviation Security Group, said the light plane made an emergency landing on the runway around 10:15 a.m., damaging its nose gear and propeller.

No one was reported injured in the incident, Ocampo said.

In a phone interview from Tagbilaran City, Edgar Solis, local manager of the Air Transportation Office, said the ill-fated aircraft was a Cessna 152, with body number RPC-4420.

Solis said it came from Mactan, Cebu and was being piloted by a certain Capt. Jaymar Ortega, who was on a solo flight.

"We haven't determined yet the cause of the accident," Solis said in the Cebuano vernacular.

Ocampo said the accident caused a delay for almost one hour in the departure of Philippine Airlines flight PR 176 bound for Manila. - GMANews.TV  less

One of my friends from College asked me to come fly with him. Being my first time in a recreational aircraft and having a love for flying the flight by itself would of been great, but after takeoff he   more...took me by complete surprise and asked if I would want to fly. At first I did a couple of turns and then he told me to take a course. I ended up flying from Stevens Point to Wausau and to Wisconsin Rapids where he landed the plane.
