One of my longtime hobbies is restoring silent movies. I have a project called "Maid Marian Free Media" devoted to my work on these old public domain classics which you can find on other websites   more...as well, but has not received much attention. This is the very first filmed version of Alice in Wonderland, made in 1903. It was difficult to restore as there is only 1 print known to exist. I took a copy of it, corrected the projection speed, brightened it, gave it a sepia wash to add warmth, and added some music. This was directed by Cecil Hepworth, one of the most important early film directors in England. He also appears in the film as Frog. I hope you will enjoy watching this as much as I enjoyed restoring it for you.  less
