If you've seen the original, you'll know Ma-ti (power of heart) is accompanied by a monkey, which, given my choice of character, sort of fits with this comic by witegots...

Hearing a snippet from the episode 20 dub, her words reminded me of the somewhat cheesy (but fun) Captain Planet opening. Yes, I used to watch Captain Planet. (brainwashing in a good way!)

Here's something you don't see every day: a romantic "Captain Planet" amv. I couldn't help it; finding it online brought back so many hilarious memories. Given Linka's power and her love for   more...birds, I thought Faith Hill's song "If My Heart Had Wings" was appropriate, especially for how she must have felt when she thought she'd be leaving the Planeteers (and Wheeler) in "Missing Linka."
