Some days I feel a lot like a deer. Quiet, contemplative, leaping, joyous, peaceful. (okay,   more...now there's a good day. On other days I might be a puma.)

Deer seem to show up when I'm in the woods and don't seem to mind me being nearby. Sometimes they move towards me with a funny look, like "hey... aren't you kinda tall for a deer?" As if they can't quite figure me out. (Me neither.)  less

I love to photograph water in all of its ways of being, and I'm astounded by the forms that appear when the action of the water is stopped... they must be there all of time, flowing by imperceptibly as   more...we see only the running stream. Every moment, every minute, for as long as the water flows.
