Stu is having troubles with the numerous switches at his disposal to control the tractor beam, after a bumpy ride the farmer boy is finally onboard the space ship but Stu forgets to close the door on the bottom of the ship before he shuts of the tractor beam. Stu have failed the examination and his instructor takes over and returns the farmer boy to safety, when Stu starts crying his instructor promises him that he can fly the space ship back home to sheer him up, needless to say Stu makes a mess of the farmers house.

In this CG animated gem, war comes to a fictional land. As opposing armies readying for battle, two reluctant soldiers on either side -- little Mortimer and nerdy Bracket -- eventually find themselves   more...on the front-lines facing the blasting guns and flying dinosaurs of their enemies. Since hitting the web last weekend, Andrew Chesworth's senior thesis project at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design has exploded, receiving links and admirers from animation and art sites across the world.

Begun in September 2005, Chesworth just finished the project in May of this year. Inspired by Pixar directors Brad Bird, Andrew Stanton, and John Lasseter, Chesworth also cites such Hollywood live-action inspirations as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Sam Raimi, and Robert Zemeckis. "The film Roger Rabbit' was a huge inspiration to me as a five-year-old kid," he says. "'Toy Story' was a big event for me," he adds, "and I knew that somehow or another I wanted to align myself with the people who did that. It was so mind-blowing!" Chesworth hopes that some of his filmmaking heroes might catch his film on the Internet. And with its detailed character work and imaginative universe, they won't be disappointed.

After graduating in May, Chesworth is continuing to work on his own animation projects and has a full-time job at Make LLC, a Minneapolis-based visual effects and animation studio.  less

The most refined and special restaurant   more...of the city, where the chef is nothing less than a mouse (actually a rat). Everyone is crazy to discover the secret that Marcell Toing has to prepare his delicious receipts. But no one imagine the things he does to get his ingredients. Every thursday night, he faces a truly impossible mission with the charming assistant Carol and his friend Greg, a waiter that is more than disastrous. The three mice (rats) go out searching rare ingredients in the human's restaurant, confronting from mousetraps to a terrible cat. But the adventure of this group becomes even more risky when a cluster of envious mice (RATS!!!), capable of everything, get together to put an end at the success of Ratatoing.  less

It's a hybrid of the Pixar logo (from 1995 to onwards) and the Randy Newman score of the Pixar-exclusive Walt Disney Pictures logo (from 1995 to 2007; WALL-E uses the 2006 WDP logo). I wonder if anyone   more...at Disney or Pixar comes across this video and inspires him/her to use this hybrid.
