Bluebirds drinking at Springcreek

The first chicks fledged at 20 days old. The last one fledged the following day.

Day 17 in the lives of bluebird chicks. They are anxious to get out of the nest and parents are encouraging them to do just that!

UPDATE: This nest box is occupied by TUFTED TITMICE, not Bluebirds! I guess my eyes had deceived me, plus wishful thinking! But the Titmice are very welcome here, as well!

Some new arrivals in one of the houses in the yard. A great thing, as their habitat here is shrinking by the year.
