Bird Watching

This little bird comes to my yard nearly every morning. I finally got a few seconds of video so you can see him. I apologize for the shaky camera work.

Out on White Street Pier in Key West watching people enjoying the day fishing and looking at the birds diving in the water.

At the beginning of December, 2007, the west coast of British Columbia, Canada received the first snowfall.   more... In this area it dropped only about 1-2 inches of the white stuff but in other areas more snow fell to wreak havoc for all of the unprepared west coast commuters. While visiting a Scenic Byway near Yampa Colorado we stopped off near a lake in the wilderness and glimpsed this small bird trying to balance on the limb of a Queen Ann's Lace with Columbine and other   more...alpine meadow flowers in full bloom.  less

Bird watching with my children takes on a new meaning.

My cat Suzy and I catch and release a bird she brought in through the pet door. If anyone has any idea what kind of bird this is please leave it in the comments.

This is one of my pet birds who also is a class pet. The day before, I put my hand in the cage to show my kids that he was tame and would sit on my finger, but when I got him there, he did his little   more...'dance'. So I got my camera and tried it again. Didn't take much to get him back on my hand. 0.o His name is Fox and the green one you see is Samantha. He ignores her and yells at me.  less
