Why learn anything? Why go to school? Why study? Why not sit and pray for everything to be delivered to you? Why care about how we treat anybody if we can repent later? Why does God need money? Why can't   more...he write his own books? Why does he create faulty humans and blame them for his own mistakes? Why is he so insecure that he must be worshipped unquestioningly? Why does anything make sense? Am I making sense? Why make any sense at all?  less

The title of this chapter one is "A Deeply Religious Non-Believer." Dawkins discusses an alternative notion of religion from a scientific perspective. I reference the following quote from   more...Einstein in the video, and it gives you a glimpse of the ideas being discussed.

Since I'm trying to explain them on two wheels the ideas may not accurate represent his views and ideas. If you've ever tried to explain to a Christian that you don't believe in God, and that atheism is not, in fact, denial of a God you know exists, but is actually an absence of any belief at all, you'll   more...know that it's as futile as trying to convince the sea that it should stop waving at you.
