Broke both my legs in an accident I had with my bike, but when I get a chance to escape outside you better bet I go ATGATT

Two things I like to do when I'm not riding.

On January 23, 2009 I was enjoying a nice ride. I came to an intersection and I had the right away. A car on the intersecting street was stopped at a stop sign. The driver did not see me and proceeded   more... more...into the intersection. By the time I saw the car I was 10 feet away and couldn't do anything. I collided with the front quarter panel of the car, flipped over the bars and over the car and landed 15 feet away from the accident scene. I survived, my bike did not. I only survived without injury because I was wearing all of my gear.  less

I ask what is better material and what holds out best in a crash and if you think leather would be a bit much?

So I did this as a promise, more or less. And it actually went a bit differently than I thought it would.

I talk about how its very easy for a new rider to think they've gotten used to the bike and really know how to control it. As soon as you think that the bike will show you you're wrong.

Part 13, Renovo trip. I get hit with a rock from because the truck I'm following wanders onto the berm and I start to talk about wearing gear.

I also pass the truck near the end of the video, something   more...I rarely do on the 250.  less

My 2nd Rave Biker Video with no intro.

The reason I'm uploading this again...is not to try to reuse the first video. But to give people a video they can share with friends or put on their MySpace without   more...the BDT intro that wouldn't make sense to most people.

I complain about people who preach safety and then turn around and break their own rules. I have seen more middle aged men dump their bikes on sponsored "Safety Rides" then anywhere else.   more...Thats not in this video, but I talk about it.  less
