I have used a combination of sine' square and triangle waves for the Solfeggio frequency drones, this adds to the Electro feel rather than sticking to pure sine-waves. The arpeggios are a Saw-tooth waveform. The 3 electronic drums used are not frequency pitched to the Solfeggio scale; rather frequency processed, tuned and equalized to be harmonically compatible. This gives the percussion; a Solfeggio harmonic overtone, within the drum sound. I felt this audio processing technique helped to reinforce the Solfeggio Arpeggios. I'm putting this up to show others that shredding isn't what you think it is. I'm not saying it's not as difficult as it looks, quite the contrary. What I'm saying is that it's just completely different from what you would expect, so I've learned over the years.I like to break it down into just a few different categories, those being something like scales, arpeggios, tapping, legato etc just for simplicity's sake. Practicing your scales and arpeggios with alternate picking and sweep picking for years on end is really the 'bulk' of shredding, and that's pretty much a relief in a certain way. The downside to it is that TIME IS OUR ENEMY.It's a matter of persevering with just these few little hurdles that don't clear up until years down the road. I guess it takes years of going through complexities with guitar to learn just the opposite of it. Kind of like how you can't break a rule until you learn it, or something. less Tags: shred shredding guitar sweep picking heavy metal riffs technique lesson tablature scale arpeggio power chord neoclassical yngwie malmsteen petrucci michael romeo angelo Category: Music Views: 112 Comments: 0 Added: Mar 30, 09 By: guitargnosis | | | | | Become proficient on guitar scales string amp fret skipping pt2 03:44http://www.guitargnosis.comTablature which includes fingering and fretting available on the site. This is the 2nd part of the 2nd half (4 in total) of the scales lesson.Practicing scales is simply more...a matter of three different 'key steps', sans the actual theory and technique part. It's just a matter of playing scales (sometimes arpeggios) very fastly. With this lesson, you'll find the three basic 'hurdles' that are oftimes difficult to overcome when playing scales. I break it down into three basic steps:1: Finger shapes (fingering patterns)
2: String transitioning (or skipping)
3: Fret transitioning (or fret skipping)Practicing these three steps on their own, and then combining them all simultaneously is the path to becoming proficient with scales. The throat singing / overtone singing, featured in this track, is by Stian; AKA stingndr on YouTube. There is also Theta more...brainwave entrainment technology in this track; by www.unisontherapy.com The Solfeggio frequencies; are from a musical scale used in ancient music, chants and religious ceremonies; that were lost for many centuries. The Solfeggio scale, chants and frequencies/tones were believed to enable spiritual blessings and transformation when played and sung in harmony. One of the most interesting Solfeggio frequencies is 528 Hz. According to Dr Len Horowitz and Dr Puleo; some leading genetic bio chemists suggest frequency 528 Hz is the repair frequency for damaged DNA. 528 Hz is one of the main focus frequency's of this track. There are 9 main Solfeggio frequencies and it's the 6 initial tones that have many suggested benefits. Regardless of ones individual beliefs, as each note has a different tuning from the conventional musical scale, these tones can provide a new stimulus to the mind and physical system. It is recently accepted by scientists, that just providing the brain with new input has many benefits alone, in relation to brain plasticity / keeping the mind young healthy and active. As the mind becomes healthy the physical body also reaps its own reward. This is a list of some of the Solfeggio Hz and their suggested benefits. 396 Hz - Releasing emotional patterns and the liberation of guilt and fear. 417 Hz - Breaking up crystallized emotional patterns and facilitatiog change. 528 Hz - Association with "DNA integrity" transformation, love and miracles. 639 Hz - Whole brain quadrant interconnectedness/connecting relationships. 741 Hz - Intuitive states, non linear knowing and awakening intuition. 852 Hz --Unconditional love and returning to spiritual order. The 12 Solfeggio tones follow a mathematical pattern. They increase by 111 Hz each note. .. 63 Hz .174 Hz .285 Hz .396 Hz .417 Hz .528 Hz .639 Hz .741 Hz .852 Hz .963 Hz 1174 Hz 1285 Hz less Tags: frequency 528 hz dr len horowitz dna medicine 12 solfeggio tone meditation overtone singing Category: Arts & Animation Views: 850 Comments: 0 Added: Nov 3, 08 By: urnow | | |
