OTAKON 2007 ONE: (the first of four videos)

Thursday, July 19 Registration Day through Friday's first chaos beginning.

For anime and manga fans, this is the event they have eagerly awaited all year since   more...the prior year's convention ended. During that year they create their costumes and dress their dolls, gather friends and make new ones. Very few cell phones come out, but the cameras do because this is a time of Make-Believe where every female is beautiful, strong and courageous, and every male is a sweeping, flying hero. This is the time where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, when the meek trumpet and sing and dance.

It does not matter the age of the damsels or gents because at Otakon, time stands still and a Universe explodes into new birth!

Otakon Anime Convention is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Baltimore becomes a full weekend of Magick for both the thousands (about 20 thousand to 24 thousand attend annually) of fans, tourists and citizens of the city. It's also an anticipated event for numerous hotels, parking facilities, restaurants etc. in the area.

Well I went to Otakon (an anime convention) this weekend and one of the highlights is the "Otaku Rave". Quite a few breakdancers usually show up and strut their stuff. This is a little bit   more...of what they were doing on Friday. I actually also went out there for a bit, but I obviously couldn't film myself. Enjoy.  less

This was at a panel at Ohyacon called Roleplay Battle or something like that. I got a video of a guy dressed in an Oreo costume who was fighting. It was very fighting, unfortunately I only got the end.   more...The Oreo was the crowd favorite, and the annoucer's favorite; therefore, he was invisible. :P  less

RCEHoppe here, i have been really trying to send you (rocketman, And Turf316 ) messages sents Jan 6th 2007 from my e-mail at G-Mail - - from what i know of, I dont think it's getting threw ? SO I am trying this, in the hopes that is will some how get to you guys =)

This has been sent in part of, I/us working with Anime North again for this year.

Last year I (and my guys) had a greet time, and a lot of FUN! And we have been ask to come back for this year (from Turf316 ) and as well we have been ask by thouse who have played in the games that we hosted with in 2006. AND we are really getting things moving from this year. again I am sorry to send you a messages like this but I haven't gotn' anything that what is going on with the in and out's on what is happing overall this is years con. (We love youguys :) )

so here is what we are looking for:

1) are my e-mail getting through, if not plaese let me know. - becuse i am getting e-mail's from other people that there e-mail's are not getting threw.

2) can we come back for an other year of fun?

Shriners Convention

Crysta and I loaded up the van and drove down to Geek.kon in Madison this weekend to vend for Rising Stuff, promote No Brand Con, and otherwise have a fairly good time. I only have a tiny bit of footage,   more...but I've done my best to make it appear at least slightly interesting.  less
