She also accompanied three additional faerie queens to Avalon with the body of the slain king. It is also said that she stole the child Lancelot and cured his madness. This was done so Lancelot could become guard to Nimue's weak son Mabuz who was tormented by Iweret.  less

Instead she can only see the world through a mirror, which in some versions of the story is a magic mirror but in most is just a large mirror that allows her to see what is happening in the outside world. She weaves tapestries, pictures made with thread, and uses the things she sees in her mirror--scenes of Camelot--as the subject of her tapestries.  less

Yeah, like there are any sharks in Nebraska...

A hike through snowy mountain woods, from Plaine Joux ski station to Lac Vert (Green Lake) and then on to Le Chàtelet (I'm not sure exactly, but it's something like "the house" probable   more...a mountain house) a restaurant isolated high up in the mountain and only accessible by walking, a snowmobile or possibly a heavy duty 4X4. During the hike I take numerous looks at the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe at 4.800 meters.
