A group of us from work hired out the local go kart track for the evening. This time the weather stayed dry for us. It was a fun night out.

World-wide, we will soon be without any veterans of The Great War, and those of WWII are also decreasing in number. This mournful lament from Gordon Lightfoot has always brought to my mind the soldiers   more...of WW1 -- so far away, not knowing where or when the end will come, and longing for home. This one is for all of our veterans. A special “thank you” goes to my good friend in the Netherlands who provided many of these photos from his own collection.
