How much awesomeness can I fit into under two minutes of   more...screentime? Quite a bit actually.
This is me getting psyched up for September and a whole new season of awesome, by compiling clips of everything I love about Avatar, the action, the emotion, the passion!! Unfortunately, due to time constaints to finish and upload this video, I had to steal the song from a very good friend of mine, brilliantlygreen, whose Avatar Preview video completely inspired this one.
And, as an added bonus, after watching both seasons over again with my friend (who is now addicted, ha!), I found a whole bunch of awesome clips I previously forgot about! Woo! And I thought I'd put some cool Jet clips in this too, since he really deserves it, after all the times I've showed him getting completely pwned by Katara...
Also, I'm very sorry for the lack of original effects in this one. I was a slave to the beat of the song, and if I added effects to each of those hits like I wanted to, it would be over before you could recognize what the clip was showing. Still, I planned to lower the effect-o-meter a little on this one anyway, since I wanted to emphasize the untainted brilliance of Avatar. Kinda failed at the no-effect thing, but ya know... there's only so much I can take.
This will be my last video until well into season 3, Avatarians, unless I get such a dawning of inspiration that it just can't wait. But, until then...

Toph and Katara vs. Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee in a war of words and bending; whilst each side assures the other that they "ain't no hollaback girl." It's pretty fun. Took forever but it's nearly   more...perfect. All flashes, etc. were of course done by hand, so this is basically me flaunting my apparant ability for timings. : )
Video-making Progress Tracker Thing: This is the first video where I really started reading music frequencies, since the beats in this song can almost be classified as random, it's so unpredictable (especially to one unfamiliar with the song). Anyway, this skill has come in quite handy since then...

Spoilers for The Boiling Rock!!
Yeah, so I totally made this in a day. How about that! I guess I can't say it took be 20+ hours now, cuz it didn't. I even went out to lunch and saw a movie... and yet here   more...it is, completed on my computer and just asking to be uploaded. Your wish is my command, oh computer lord.
So, Boiling Rock pts. 1 and 2 pretty much rule all. I absolutely loved them... so unexpected!! But amazingly cool! Mai is clearly the woman of the hour, hence why she gets the final shot and production still. I've always liked her, but she just jumped up 10 Raven points in my book. Geez. Still can't quite believe the end of that episode...
I know I only introduced 4 characters in this one, but the music only allowed for 4. But really, when you think about this episode, which 4 characters first come to mind? I rest my case.
But yeah guys, BUY THE DVD ON MAY 6TH! For real! Avatar seriously needs our support here. Why else would Nick sell a DVD with unaired episodes? IT'S A TEST. It's a marketing strategy that could make or break the possibility of future Avatar seasons and the live action movie in 2010. For all that is good and holy, BUY THE DVD. Buy 2 DVDs. Just help out the cause, because with this most recent leak Avatar sure does need it.

Like Scrubs? Like Avatar? One or the other, you should at least be able to laugh, even if you more...haven't seen Scrubs at all. If you HAvE seen Scrubs, this   more...might be even funnier. I'm 90% certain that you WILL laugh during the course of this video, as I have found myself laughing at several parts within. Yes, I made myself laugh. That's nigh impossible. There's a helpful little blackout between each clip--if you need to pause for breath, feel free.

There is very little cast continuity in this. It is mainly based on the Avatar characters, rather than the Scrubs characters....but pairings usually match up, and everyone fits their role as well as they can. Lip-synch is off in some parts, and there is the occasional clicking noise where the sound recording messed up.

Zuko seems to be rather dominant throughout this--for one thing, because he has a lot of clips, for another thing, because, well...he fits the clips. I wish I'd used more Aang and Sokka, but it's hard finding hilarious clips that have humor that will either be acceptable or wild enough to go over the heads of the innocent. Except for the ones I used....I have more clips on hand, so if this gets enough of a positive response, I'll probably make another selection in the future. But as soon as it hit six minutes in length, I decided that it was long enough. It took a while to wrap up, but....hopefully, you'll laugh.

Rated PG for language and some innuendo.

This took DAYS to make...hunting down clips, finding ones that worked, synching them up....actually, one could say that it took months, as a few of these clips were thought of ages ago. It demanded a lot of my time and became a recent obsession, and took several revisions to make me happy. But I think it was worth it. Almost.

Avatar set to the Sin City trailer. Its the best Vid I've EVER DONE!!!! I am so extremely proud of it. it took about 12 hours to do (with all the render time). All editing and effects were done in Final   more...Cut Pro.

I love the way it turned out! There are a few parts that could be taken as Zutara, but that is not to say that I am a Zutara shipper, i just went with what i thought fit the best.

I hope you all love it. Let me know what you think! ^_^

Casting was pretty basic...it got difficult at times and I'm not completely happy, but there are a number of inside jokes involved in my choices, so it makes sense to me. Which means that it will make no sense to you, but just bear with me and watch! :)

In my opinion, this is one of my best vids ever. The song...is probably my favorite song of the year. Seriously. I've listened to it all day today while making the vid and several   more...times through, and I haven't gotten tired of it. Some of you may recognize it as the third ending theme for Bleach; a lot of my inspiration came from those endings. Along with my obsession with the song.

Plenty of effects and clips in this one. There are subtle stories in each, too--and keep an eye on the lighting of each verse. ;-)

This was mapped out earlier...certain segments were formed before I actually went all-out on the video...thus, I included Azula. And Zuko's not part of the Gaang. FYI, I won't include him as such until he actually joins. He's off to join the Avatar; last time, he was off to capture the Avatar. We all know how that went.

After seeing boiling rock, I really wanted to make a video about Ozai's angels.

It's been awhile since my last vid; mostly I blame   more...how hard it is to find good illegal softwere these days! I've got sony vegas 7 on my laptop (slow), but the program won't work on my computer (bloody vista), and when I tried downloading vegas 8.0 with a crack the effects weren't there, and the free trial worked great, but it expired, and when I tried using a keygen thing I accidentally entered the activation code without entering the other code at the same time, so the codes don't match or something like that. bottom line: vegas won't run on my computer, and my laptop is slow. so it'll probaby be awhile before I make anything else.

And I can't wait to see the Southern Raiders!

Okay, so it's not really about Sokka and Katara....

After "The Beach," I saw a sudden upsurge of strange complaints about how people didn't like the characters acting like teenagers and kids.   more...This is no old complaint, but they gave me the final drive to produce this project that I've had planned for quite a while. "The Beach" also managed to give me the clips I needed and was waiting for. Yes, once again, I have failed to resist using Season Three clips in a music video.

I present to you, now, a tribute to the true nature of our heroes--their kid sides. Nothing super-dramatic and far from perfectionist, and I am sure that I will be kicking myself over some clips that have been left out. I can't say that I'm completely happy with it, but the song gets a little repetitive and stressful after too long playing with synchronization.

This is one of those shipping themes   more...videos. I decided to make one...it took me a long time, but I'm more than satisfied with the results. My apologies if I did not include one of your preferred ships, but I had eight in here. My apologies also if you think that your ship didn't get enough time or the right song, but....fitting them in properly was difficult. And don't expect any song to go on the full length....they're all cropped.

I admit, I do have some biasment here, but....I kept it limited.

Assuming that you've finished watching, the Ty Lokka was the kick-start to this. I might make a full-length one of the Kataang and Tokka vids--if someone wants to make one of the others, permission granted. Feel free.

Maizu was probably my biggest disappointment....I'm fond of that ship, but I found that it is difficult to find clips for that. Thus, practically the entire segment wound up in slow-motion....ah, well. Taang seemed to focus a bit too much on the Blind Bandit ep, and all throughout, my lip-synching was down a bit from the usual. But I'm still happy with it!
