I'm in the middle of nowhere, and I have a broken drive belt. I'm basically screwed, and I start the long march home.

Finding this rope in the wilderness is like finding gold on the side of the road. Towing my fat ass was not easy.

We hunt for a repair shop. Although we made it back to civilization, it's a Sunday, and the shops are closed! We were really worried. I ask Victor about his bike and the upgrades. Quite nice.

Taiwan's country roads are awesome and amazing! I really have to say that Taiwan's twisty and relatively smooth roads are really amazing. I suspect that the roads remain in good condition because of   more...the relative light weight of the vehicles traveling on it. That's just my guess. In the video, I also point out where I found rope on the side of the road. Yeah. Oh snap. I was in trouble.  less

Haven't done any riding lately (stupid weather!), so I dug out some more footage from my Blue Ridge Parkway trip last summer.

Testing the new angle for the bullet cam, and also trying to drag my knee again witihout crashing due to traffic in front and mud from farmers trucks that is on the road outta no where.

I'm getting much more confident on twisty roads. This video has no talking and no music, just the hum of the engine, the sound of the wind, and some moderate twisties.

The Yellow River is 2900 miles long, and is the most silt laden river in the world. The area in which I am riding is at least 40 miles before the river meets the sea in Shandong province. Over the centuries   more...many Chinese people have been killed by the river's changes of course and flooding.
