This vid has a story! I went on vacation for April break and I bought a whole   more...bunch of new songs so I wouldn't be bored out of my mind in the airports (we had 3 hour layovers). So this was a song that I bought. The entire time I was in Florida all I could see was this vid and all I could hear was this song, so what you are seeing is EXACTLY how I saw it in my head. Update: Ok people, stop complaining about the effects. They're cool. My mommy said so. Plus, it is clear from very early on in the video that there would be a lot of effects. And if you're like me and you watch a lot of Avatar videos, it gets just a tad boring watching the same clips over and over, so I like to make them interesting. So sue me. : (

After a ton of really annoying and tedious work, here is my newest AMV. I literally had to remake the AMV; I went through my finished version and replaced nearly every video clip with a higher quality   more...one. It took a while.

There are a few minor mistakes in this video because of clips sizes; a few of my clips were 640x480 unlike the DVD footage, which was 720x480. But I'll fix those errors before Connecticon. I'm feeling really good about this AMV, I hope I win something.

I just watched this on livevideo, and I noticed the quality is not as good and a few of the flashes don't look as nice as in the actual file. Oh well, nothing I can do about that XD This is my first Aang tribute. The song is "Dance with the Devil" by Breaking Benjamin. Thank you Schyler for the song suggestion :D

The way I interpreted the lyrics was metaphorical; "dance with the devil" is fighting enemies. The lyrics are mostly Aang's thoughts, but when it gets to "I believe in you" I shifted to Katara, because she's the one who believes in Aang the most and helps him through the hardest times. There is some kataang in this video, but it's not too much.

There are a lot of effects, but not enough to give you a seizure. I'm not sure whether it would be better with more effects or if it's good as it is. Feedback on that aspect would be greatly appreciated.

Essentially, I spent FOREVER on this, so I really hope you like it :D  less

Okay, so it's not really about Sokka and Katara....

After "The Beach," I saw a sudden upsurge of strange complaints about how people didn't like the characters acting like teenagers and kids.   more...This is no old complaint, but they gave me the final drive to produce this project that I've had planned for quite a while. "The Beach" also managed to give me the clips I needed and was waiting for. Yes, once again, I have failed to resist using Season Three clips in a music video.

I present to you, now, a tribute to the true nature of our heroes--their kid sides. Nothing super-dramatic and far from perfectionist, and I am sure that I will be kicking myself over some clips that have been left out. I can't say that I'm completely happy with it, but the song gets a little repetitive and stressful after too long playing with synchronization.
