At about 8pm on Tuesday a phone call came through from a supporter of the campaign stating that an anonymous email was received from a local person who lived near the Soldiers Hill site of the proposed   more...M3 motorway. This email stated that a new archaeological site was discovered and around 20 archaeologists had been working for the past couple of weeks, and that construction work was being carried out under flood lights near this site from 5am and late into the night. This site was well hidden from the road by banks of earth. SO a band of warriors headed out and eventually after some hands on electric fence, and feet in bog incidents they assembled near what they discovered was a pegged out site.
A plan was hatched for some digger diving the next day.  less
