The reason I don't like being told I'm a "nice guy" is because I don't do "nice" things for other people's praise. I know people who do do that.....and I don't like them. They're better   more...than the people that do nothing....but not by much.

I haven't done a purely random vlog for a while, so I thought I'd revisit the idea. This is the random stuff that I think of on a day to day basis...

Stray cats are everywhere and their numbers can grow very quickly if left to breed. Lethal methods of controlling their population are outdated and inhumane. T-N-R (trap-neuter-return) is the most effective   more...and humane method that works!

The stray cat population in the U.S. is estimated to be approx. 70 to 100 million. Uncared for, homeless cats lead lonely, miserable lives. But when neutered, returned to where they were trapped and fed on a daily basis, they can live very happy, healthy lives. It would be ideal to adopt out every stray cat, but unfortunately, statistics tell us that there are just not enough homes available to adopt all the existing stray cats. And, the animal shelters are overcrowded and underfunded, so their answer is to euthanize. Please don't breed and buy while homeless ones die.

Visit any animal shelter and you will see the tragic consequences of cat overpopulation. These are just some of the hundreds of kittens and cats my friends and I have rescued over the last 5 years. We ALL can make a difference in the life of a homeless cat.

It doesn't matter what my intentions are, if my actions will lead to more animosity and misunderstandings. I have tried to keep open channels of dialog before, but I feel things are becoming ridiculous. I have been made redundant. That's ok. I am not leaving yet, but I won't be present that often either.
