I heard this was the last year they're having the fireworks display at the Taipei 101 skyscraper. Taipei 101 is currently the world's tallest building.

When completed in 2009 it will be over half a mile high, with 160   more...storeys. That's like stacking 2 Empire State Buildings on top of each other.
