October is <a href="http://www.hrc.org/issues/coming_out.asp">National Coming Out Month</a> and October 11th is National Coming Out Day. Have you been in the closet for a while and   more...tired of hiding it and trying to act like, and be, someone you're not? Coming out is NOT about shouting it out and telling everyone (though it does require you to talk to some people like close friends and/or relatives), but it's more about you being able to accept yourself and not care what others think of you for being yourself. When you get to that point where you can say, "Oh well, if someone wants to hurt me or worse just because of who I am, that's their problem and I'm willing to take that chance, but I AM going to BE ME. To help you with coming out, get the <a href=" http://www.hrcactioncenter.org/campaign/coming_out_day_kit_standard">HRC Resources For Coming Out Kit</a>. Also, if you are already "out", as the campaign says, "Talk About It". Help make it easier for others to "come out". Just a reminder, there is a "Coming Out" topic in the Forums on this Channel for you to post your "coming out" stories.

We met Clifford Stone at the Roswell Museum in New Mexico where he was kind enough to grant us several hours of his time. After listening to him for only a short while, it became clear we were in the   more...presence of a very extraordinary man.

This soft-spoken gentleman has an astounding tale to tell about his alien friend, Korona; how he went on crash recovery missions in Vietnam during the 60s; how he helped an ET to escape from military custody.

He's got a massive heart and a broad perspective that manages to capture the whole world in its sights. He talks of the rights of the visitors to our planet in the face of captivity; he talks of their sense of sacrifice for the well being of humanity. He speaks of the need for us to care what happens to the 'other guy', and how real feeling for each other is what's going to make the difference as we move forward to join the galactic community.  less
