According to reports, katrina's Birthday party was not all fun and dance. There was a big fight between   more...the two most popular Khans, Shahrukh and Salman.

They started calling each other names and this resulted in a big brawl. They were about to hit each other when Gauri and Aamir intervened and they left the party.

I feel that these two respectable men are mature enough to know when to stop. If all these reports are true, It's a major disappointment.

Poor Katrina's party turned into a nightmare. I feel bad for Kats, who called her family also for the B'day. She must have been heart broken.

Mumbai, Mar 13 (ANI): Shahrukh Khan, the owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders, team in the Indian Premier League (IPL) today said his team will be an inspiration for budding cricketers and fans.
Speaking to reporters here, Shahrukh said his teams philosophy be to inspire the common man through the cricket.
"We will create such a platform that not only those who want to play cricket, but also those who want to lead a better life can get inspired by our players and lead a successful victorious life," said Khan.
Khan, and his business partners formally launched their team on Tuesday.
The Kolkata IPL team will be led by former Indian cricket team skipper Saurav Ganguly. John Buchanan will be its coach.
The IPL, a Twenty20 competition is scheduled to start on April 18 this year and will last for 44 days involving 59 matches. The prize money for the league will be around three million dollars.
Each team will have a pool of 16 players, of whom four will be of international caliber and four from the Under-19 level. (ANI) (less)  less

The Indian Premier League's Kolkata franchise have named their team Kolkata Knight Riders. The announcement was made by the team's owner, Shah Rukh Khan, at a press conference in Kolkata to unveil the team name and logo. The team's captain, Sourav Ganguly, as well as coach John Buchanan were also in attendance.

"Lot of efforts have gone into making this team, and now I am very happy to be a party to this wonderful team led by Sourav Ganguly," Shah Rukh said. The team's jersey, which was revealed at the function, is a combination of black and gold, and has been designed by Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra, while their logo is a golden helmet. "Black is the colour of goddess Kali and we aim for gold."

It was also announced that four Bengal players - allrounders Laxmi Shukla and Saurasish Lahiri, wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha and Rohan Banerjee - have been signed on. A team anthem was also released as part of the franchise's marketing campaign. The song, composed by Bollywood duo Vishal-Shekhar, has the words 'Korbo, lorbo, jitbo, re' which in Bengali means 'do it, fight and win'. "Hoog Lee", the tiger, will be the team's mascot.

The Kolkata Knight Riders have the likes of Ricky Ponting, Chris Gayle, Ishant Sharma, Shoaib Akhtar, Brendon McCullum, David Hussey, and Umar Gul in their ranks as well as Ajit Agarkar and Murali Kartik.

They bought two Pakistanis - Salman Butt ($100,000) and Mohammad Hafeez ($100,000) - and two India Under -19 players in Siddarth Kaul and Iqbal Abdulla in the second auction on Tuesday.  less
