Johnny Maximum squares off against four of the most famous characters from the King of Fighters series: Kyo Kusanagi (Beppu), Iori Yagami (Beppu), Krizalid (Nyankoro), and God Rugal (@ndroide).

Kyo XI and Iori XI by Beppu are deadly opponents. They counter your attacks a lot. You're usually forced to play opportunistically against these guys.

Krizalid by Nyankoro is no pushover either. He is not the final boss of KOF'98 for no reason. His Typhoon Rage kick knocks you out of many attacks.

Finally, there is God Rugal by @ndroide. He is a very powerful opponent. This is the CvS version, so he even has a Shun Goku Satsu. His other deadly super is his G-Ender, which deals 80% or more damage.

A while ago, I got a request match to fight Mech Rugal with Tetsu. However, I actually forgot how much of a major pain in the ass this character was!

Mech Rugal is quite possibly the toughest Rugal made for Mugen. He's even cheaper than Warusaki3's God Rugal!

Mech Rugal has insane speed, lots of power, and he has super armor during a few of his attacks! He can actually take down Perfect Storm X, Evil Ken, and even Hyper Neo-Kamek if he uses the right moves!

If you want fight this guy, I suggest the following:

1: NEVER, EVER play keep away! That's how I got my ass kicked 5 times in a row against this guy! He's just too fast to spam projectiles at him from far away.

2: Chain attacks are your friends. If your using a character like Tetsu, chain attacks can really help you get some massive damage on this guy.

3: Throw moves can help out as well. Watch closely how I parry his attacks, then throw him. This will work a lot if he corners you.

4: Wait for him to come to you. Don't just rush right at him, unless you want him to use his hyper moves on you. Wait for him to rush and attack you. When you get an opening, try comboing or throwing him.

God Rugal: this guy is one tough customer. it's hard to get in some supers dued to the cause he steals super energy from you. I usely just use my hard kick and drill claw   more...and some supers if I can get enough without him stealing it all.  less

By popular request, Juggernaut goes against God Rugal again. This time, God Rugal is on his brutal "K-Groove".

Huuuu.... K-Groove. Especially on a cheap character like God Rugal by Warusaki3.   more... It's like his EX-Groove, only 10 times worse. He can activate moves like the Shun Goku Satsu once he enters "Rage mode". Like last time, it's hard to dodge his moves and he is sometimes unpredictable.

God Rugal is a very intense opponent. He's a pretty cheesy character too. He's got invincibility frames, ridiculous damage,   more...and his super bar goes up really fast. In fact, this guy can pull off a Shun Goku Satsu in every round you fight him. The move is unblockable and really hard to get away from since he comes after you so closely and quickly. If you get really unlucky, he can sometimes pull off TWO Shun Goku Satsus in one round.
