When you fly '3d' with your heli you set your controls in 'idle up' mode.
which basically means constant high RPM and collective (pitch of
rotorblades) that allows for as much negative pitch as positive.. Usually
from +10 to -10 on an average pilots' heli :) I dont know the angles these
pros use.  less

I recently converted my Raptor 30 to a Raptor 50 and now that the engine is broken in I am giving it a small workout. There are some loops, backflips, barrel rolls, side loops, figure 8's and a short   more...inverted hover. I am still fairly new with the hobby and only do basic flight no hard 3D yet.
