At the beginning of December, 2007, the west coast of British Columbia, Canada received the first snowfall.   more... In this area it dropped only about 1-2 inches of the white stuff but in other areas more snow fell to wreak havoc for all of the unprepared west coast commuters. In most of Canada, this little bit of snow wouldn't even be worth mentioning, but out here it is a big deal. Enjoy watching  less

The unimaginable has happened in London Monday night, from which overwhelmed concert-goers are sill struggling to recuperate.

To fans and staff I met Monday night: more vids will continue to be uploaded   more...in the next 24 hours (I'm still swimming uphill against a slow Wi Fi at a London backpacker hostel that goes haywire on me whenever a guest uses the microwave oven), so do check back .... :-)

To members who have been filling my inbox all day yesterday 11 December, and all day today, 12 December, thank you all for your enthusiasm .... I was one of the lucky few who did win the lottery AFTER the concert-date postponement; I will do my best to bring more to fans who couldn't or didn't make it to this monumental event ....

To viewers who were not at the concert, grown men who have come from 5,000 miles/km away to be squeezed against each other at the urinals, were looking at each other, trying to receive another confirmation that they really were at this surreal gathering of the quarter century ....

Fire at the Wellington Hotel in Downtown Barrie set to Jazz.

The Blaze started with a basement explosion at the historic Wellington Hotel sending glass and debris into the streets. Remarkably no one was   more...seriously hurt in the explosion or the following fire, ..tho heartbreakingly some pets were lost, ..people were flung into homelessness for Christmas and family mementos are now gone.

It was a "Monster" of a Fire! Three buildings were destroyed in the blaze and many others received serious smoke, flooding and water damaged. The Fire, which broke out at about 11:30pm Thursday, continued through the night and Friday morning.

It was a challenge to put this video together. Running out of the house I wasn't really prepared for the weather. My camera kept freezing needing to be defrosted and I lost feeling in my zoom finger a couple of times. Taking the best of my shivering Camera skills I managed to pull out 9 minutes of footage.

All video clips are left in chronological order spanning 3 hours into 9 minutes. Audio from the video clips are left intact for added ambiance, it's all there somewhere under the Jazz. Some extra fire radio clips were added for artistic purposes and are out of chronological sequence ..but they are from this event!
