David Icke is running for Election and in his own words "I have not put my name forward in the upcoming by-election because I want to win and nor do I have any chance of winning. I will get a few votes at most in the time we have. Personally I am not in the least bothered if I get zero.

It is not about that. It is about taking an opportunity in a by-election called by the sitting MP on the subject of 'Big Brother' to make the point that this is far, far bigger than even he realises and unless we see the BIG picture of what is going on nothing effective can be done to stop it"

And I for one respect him for that. David Icke is a man who has stood for what he believes is right in this world. Often correctly predicting the Elite's next move and gifted enough to put into understandable words on what the bigger picture really is and how freedom is not as it seams.
The 1st time I heard about Icke was naturally through the media as a nutter! A crackpot who was insane.

After watching this My mind was open as so much made sense..In fact it made more sense to me than anything the media had to say as I realized I had known all along what was happening...I just knew. I still went on a journey myself to see if this was all true. A journey I am still on as it seams never ending and these days go with what feels right and my intrusion.
Love him or loothe him, David Icke has stood up where others haven't dared to and challenged the powerful for their actions that have taken millions of lives, one reason being the wars and highlighting that true sad fact.. we as the Tax payers are funding their deaths and our actions of ignorance have allowed these horrific murders to happen. In this video comes a reminder of just how much stronger we are and that we as one can truly change the world if we want to. The only thing stopping us is us and the time to change is now.

Third Secret of Fatima
Our naivet regarding Russia has been exposed again. We entered blindly into talks with Russia over the missile defense program and we were shocked when   more...Putin kicked us in our sizable backside yet again. It is hard to imagine how so many so-called Russian experts in the administration fail to understand Putin and Russia on even an elementary level.
Washington gluts the media with shameless hyperbole about the great strides forward with respect to our friendship with Russia only to be smacked down and embarrassed by one of the strongest leaders in Russian history. Time and again we extend our hand supposedly in peace and friendship only to get bitten by the wiser and quite deadly viper, Vladimir Putin.
Now Washington has been biting its nails because Rootin' Tootin' Vladimir Putin, who is eyeing the position of Prime Minister. They thought he'd be on his way to the cushy job at Gazprom. According to one Beltway source, Putin just won't go away. Why should we ever think he would?
So you have to wonder when reports have surfaced that Putin is a target for assassination during his upcoming visit to Iran. Several hit squads have been practicing for this auspicious occasion in hopes of taking Putin out of the game.
Put aside the fact that Putin's trip to Iran makes the US look badly. After all, Washington wants to do just that. Supposedly, many leaders have tried to dissuade Putin from entering into talks with Iran and now that the assassination rumors are public, they have tried to use that tact in persuading him not to go to Iran. But the hardheaded dictator will do what he wants to do and that means he will indeed go to Iran. The man has ambitions, great ambitions and he isn't about to let this little concern derail them.
Putin is leading Russia and the world to the very thing Our Lady warned us about at Fatima. In fact, we are perilously close to seeing the culmination of those prophecies. For those who still have trouble with Fatima, even the Bible predicts the same thing.
It really doesn't matter any longer that people are skeptical about the Fatima prophecies. We are truly living the prophecies today. Skeptics and believers alike will be hit right between the eyes in a very short time.
Yesterday, October 13th, was the anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima. How many of us remembered that? How many of us pray for the conversion of Russia? We will have no one to blame for our complacency but ourselves.
The Miracle of the Sun, and its frightening fall towards earth, according to Pope Paul VI, was a warning of a monumental nuclear war if man did not change. We should remember here that he was privy to the Third Secret of Fatima. Pope Paul stated, "It was eschatological in the sense that it was like a repetition or an annunciation of a scene at the end of time for all humanity assembled together."
If you read the accounts of eyewitnesses at Fatima on that day, they felt as though it was the end of the world. People screamed for mercy convinced their lives would be burned up like dried grass. These people came from all walks of life and all different faiths. Yet, they all reached the same conclusion. They all believed that God had placed an indelible mark on their souls, burning Our Lady's warnings into their frail spirituality. The horror of that day gave each one the preview of the Second Coming.
Many scholars believe that the Miracle of the Sun was foretold in the Book of Apocalypse or Revelation Chapter 12. "A great sign appeared in Heaven, a woman clothed with the Sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars"
If we continue in Chapter 12, we will see that St. John also mentions the rise of the "huge red dragon." And so it is. Putin is poised to strike. Russia has indeed spread the error of her ways.

Say, what? I am watching this segment on Fox News, and didn't pay it much attention, until I heard the theory that we should share technology with Russia.

Talking about a bad idea! While we are trying   more...to shield Europe from an attack by Iranian nuclear weapons, now Russia, Vladimir Putin is saying that he will point his missles at Europe. Who's side is he on? If Iran can't hit Europe, don't worry, Russia can. There has been talk about Russia and Iran having a mutual defense pact.

Talk about a pre-emptive strike on Iran because of their nuclear ambitions, and now Russia has been motivated to start talking tough... Coincidence?

Racism May Affect Infant Mortality Rates

WASHINGTON - For decades, health experts have tried to determine why African-American babies are twice as likely to die as white infants.

A new   more...series of studies from the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies' Health Policy Institute, along with a small but growing number of neonatalogists nationwide, suggests that the stressful effects of racism play a role.

"That's the elephant in the room," said Michael Lu, an obstetrician-gynecologist and professor at the University of California at Los Angeles who studies disparities in infant health. "When we're studying racial disparities, for decades people have looked at stress and infant mortality without looking at the reasons for the stress."

Black infant mortality is a complicated puzzle that includes poverty, poor nutrition, inadequate prenatal care, teen pregnancy, heredity, high blood pressure, stress, obesity, low birth weights and prematurity. However, some neonatologists and child health advocates have pushed for more research to get behind the social reasons why these factors seem to take a higher toll on African-American infants than they do on other babies.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq's divided political leadership, in a rare show of unity, skewered a non-binding   more...U.S. Senate resolution approved in Washington, D.C., last week that endorses the decentralization of Iraq through the establishment of semi-autonomous regions.Also on Sunday, the U.S. Embassy joined the Iraqi politicians - both Shiite and Sunni - in criticizing the resolution.

The measure's advocacy of a relatively weak central government and strong Sunni Arab, Shiite and Kurdish regions has touched a nerve in the Iraqi political arena, stoking fears that the United States is planning to partition Iraq.

"The Congress adopted this proposal based on an incorrect reading and unrealistic estimations of the history, present and future of Iraq," said Izzat al-Shahbandar, a member of secular ex-prime minister Ayad Allawi's parliament bloc.

He was reading from a statement also signed by Iraq's pre-eminent religious Shiite Muslim parties and the main Sunni Arab bloc.

"It represents a dangerous precedent to establishing the nature of the relationship between Iraq and the USA," the statement said, "and shows the Congress as if it were planning for a long-term occupation by their country's troops."

Today, he can't keep a job, pay his bills, or chase thoughts of suicide from his tortured brain. In a few weeks, he may lose his house, too.

Gamal Awad, the American son of a Sudanese immigrant, exemplifies an emerging group of war veterans: the economic casualties.

More than in past wars, many wounded troops are coming home alive from the Middle East. That's a triumph for military medicine. But they often return hobbled by prolonged physical and mental injuries from homemade bombs and the unremitting anxiety of fighting a hidden enemy along blurred battle lines. Treatment, recovery and retraining often can't be assured quickly or cheaply.

These troops are just starting to seek help in large numbers, more than 185,000 so far. But the cost of their benefits is already testing resources set aside by government and threatening the future of these wounded veterans for decades to come, say economists and veterans' groups.

"The wounded and their families no longer trust that the government will take care of them the way they thought they'd be taken care of," says veterans advocate Mary Ellen Salzano.

How does a war veteran expect to be treated? "As a hero," she says.

Every morning, Awad needs to think of a reason not to kill himself.
