Those awful things are survivable, because we are as indestructible as we believe ourselves to be. When adults say, "Teenagers think they are invincible" with that sly, stupid smile on their   more...faces, they don't know how right they are. We need never be hopeless, because we can never be irreparably broken. We think that we are invincible because we are. We cannot be born, and we cannot die. Like all energy, we can only change shapes and sizes and manifestations. They forget that when they get old. They get scared of losing and failing. But that part of us greater than the sum of parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail. Even though we can't be broken, we can be dented. It's amazing the things you realize when you lose someone: you get mad at yourself for not saying the things you could've a million times, you take for granted the days spent doing nothing when you could have been with them. I've seen enough now to know that beautiful things don't always stay that way and it's only after you've lost everything, that you're free to do anything.  less

I want to dedicate this video to two special people. One who is a dear friend of mine, who has inspired me in so many ways. You are my muse, and I love you. And the second person is someone who I did   more...not know very well who died recently of breast cancer. She was a talented pianist and artist. I was given her vast collection of cds, everything from Tchaikovsky to Gregorian Chants. Among which I found one entitled, Autumn Dreams by Danny Wright. As I was listening to it, I was so moved that I decided to make a video using one of his compositions entitled New Beginning. Some of the photos are mine and some of them I took from the internet. I hope that you enjoy it.  less
