A decidely raw and unreheasred take on this song. I had planned on recording another song but after trying for a while I just wasn't feeling it. So suddenly I had this crazy idea to just play this song   more...with a fan blowing. This is what came out spontaneously.  less

This is a song Neil Young wrote to honor the lives of all troops fighting the war on terror. It is on the Living With War album. My uncle served in Vietnam when I was a 9-10 year old. We were very close   more...to him. He would come home on leave and tell us horror stories about what he had seen and experienced over there. He was 19-20 at the time. Every time he would go back we feared he wouldn't come home. When he called me and told me he was finally home for good my 10 year old heart lept for joy. That was one of my happiest childhood memories. My story has a happy ending. My heart goes out to all people who have lost loved ones in all wars. May they always be remembered with honor.  less

This came about because I was absolutely blown away by Powderfinger07's music for his cover only his vocal was drowned   more...out so I asked him if I could give the vocals a try and he agreed and sent me the audio. I then used a microphone to overdub my vocal on and made a new video with our Cyberjam cover.
Powderfinger07 did an awesome job on the music and I hope I do the song justice.  less
