I have been riding for a couple weeks, but just around my backyard. This is the first time I have got my wife to video the action. I haven't dropped it yet.

Video I took from a ride I took on Memorial Day. I get on the interstate for the first time on a bike and head east.

This is just a video of some of my gear. I have more on the way like new gloves and motorcycle pants, etc. Safety first!

My hdd crashed. I tried a fsck (file system check), no luck. Recovery programs are also not effective. The ext3 filesystem is a great FS if you don't want your data recovered... it also sucks for that   more...reason. I also talk about riding with headphones.  less

Introducing my new (used) Honda 919

I took a little ride last Saturday and what should have turned out to be a 118 mile ride ended up being 159 miles because of construction detours. As a result I ended up on some roads I've never been   more...on before. No video though because I didn't have my camera in. Maybe next time.  less

My friend and I went for a ride down by the river. No talking. No Music. Just the scenery and sound of the engine.

I talk about riding, and offer a little invitation.

I give ukrider's 5th gear acceleration test a try, and get pelted by some gravel.

Ok, near the end I got sidetracked, if you're dropping more than 1 gear, you just need to give it a bit more gas. You can generally assume you'll need an extra 1,000 rpm per gear, aside from 1st, I think   more...it's closer to 3,000. And for the record, these are tips for the Ninja 250, not necissarily any other bike. Keeping the throttle wide open and jamming something like a ZX1400 into the next gear would probably have less than desireable results.  less
