This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,   more...boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. but they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.  less

Often they are incapable of being consoled: The   more...reasons are many, theres their natural corruption's, the temptations of Satan, and of course the cruel treatment of the world.
The God of all Comfort (2 Cor. 1:3) is very tender of them, and it is His revealed will that His servants should bind up the broken-hearted and pour the balm of Gilead into their wounds.
What cause have we to exclaim as it says in Micah 7:18… Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy

If the Truth shall set you free, and Jesus said..I am the TRUTH, then it is The Lord Jesus Christ alone that can set us FREE!
