Yep, after many, many tries with Captain Falcon, I tried with Pokemon Trainer. I still lost quite a lot of times, but I did better. Eventually, though, I finally beat it. I used Charizard on all bosses   more...except Tabuu, where I used Squirtle.

After beating it, I stared at the challenge grid for a while, then played some brawls to calm down a bit. I decided to record one.

If I remember correctly, I defeated the first 3 bosses without getting hit... it was Ridley, M. Hand, and Petey.  less

One of the nice things about working with these Gordon Lightfoot songs is the opportunity to research that about which he sings. Coal mining wasn't something that I knew anything about, but as I searched   more...for the photographs used in this vistory, I wanted to know more. This information was current in 2003:
1.The United States produces about 35%, or 1 billion tons, of the world's coal supply—more than any other country produces.
2.The average coal miner is 45 years old and has 20 years of experience.
3.Coal generates more than half of the electricity used in the United States.
4.Each person in the United States uses 3.8 tons of coal each year.
5.U.S. coal deposits contain more energy than that of all the world's oil reserves.
6.The United States has more than a 250-year supply of coal, if it continues using coal at the same rate at which it uses coal today (2003).  less

A boss battle against Ridley. A really easy boss battle. If you freeze the fireballs, he's defenseless. You can just keep shooting him over and over until he's dead. There is also a lot of slowdown in   more...this battle which makes it even easier. Ridley is also smaller than he is in later games, too...  less

I'm pretty sure someone's done this before, a four-on-four match against four boss-type characters.

Vega/M.Bison (Street Fighter II/Alpha series): Most of you know this guy: He has a lot of power, agility,   more...and priority, and a fierce AI to go with it.
Suika Ibuki (Missing Power mode) (Immaterial and Missing Power): Yep, it's everyone's favorite drunken Oni girl. She may have a limited moveset, and a somewhat weak agility, she makes up for with a lot of power and durability (not to mention Hyper Armor blocking off any Custom State attacks) and if you block an attack incorrectly, you're penalized with a 500 SP (Half of a Super level) drop.
Captain Caveman (Saturday Morning Madness): Telechy's own boss character. You've probably heard of his reach and priority, as well as the fierce rushdown game his AI has and the lightning-quick recovery roll that can get him out of some moves that would otherwise spell certain doom.
Apocalypse (Marvel vs. Street Fighter): There are three things you should know about this guy:
-All hits do the same amount of damage to him, no matter how strong they are
-He cannot turn around at all
-His drill HURTS, and a lot of his other moves are difficult to avoid.  less
