Classic Hard Southern Rock! Hailing   more...from Los Angeles,CA, the quartet formed in 1995 when vocalist/lyricist Todd McTavish met guitarist Lee Jackson and bassist Ryan Rogers through a mutual friend. The guys started writing together and almost immediately sensed a special magic musically between them. Thus began the process of putting Judge Jackson together. The band played the famed LA club circuit for the better part of the nineties and released their self-titled debut in 1998. Their second CD ,8068, was soon to follow to critical praise. Both releases help develop a devoted hardcore fanbase due to strong word of mouth and the buzz of there explosive live shows. The band started to gain more notoriety with a building radio presence, local & regional press and a few national television appearances...the band we're on a roll. After completion of their 3rd CD, One Diamond, a line up change was made within the ranks. Soon after, drummer J.J. Garcia, a friend and fan since their conception joined the fold. Now revitalize and focused, Judge Jackson resumed there mission of bringing the band and it's music to another level. In 2005, One Diamond was re-released through a national distributor and the foursome toured throughout the US to support it. The bands profile was heighten immensely due to the support of various media outlets in touring markets along with a rapidly developing Internet presence. The songs, "Amazing" and "Times Been Changin" from One Diamond received airplay from over 35 radio stations across the country throughout the year! Going into 2006, it continues to receive spins from a variety of satellite and Internet radio outlets all over the world. Just recently, "Times Been Changin" was featured in the hit TV show My Name is Earl on NBC. Currently, the band is been busy finishing up the recording of CD ..4 due out later this year  less

"An old soul in a young man's voice" is the headline on the front page of the Los Angeles Times Calendar section. The article is about 26 year old Keaton Simons, whose voice is described as   more...having a "lived-in quality that will echo in our minds and hearts for years to come". Keaton's fascination with music surfaced early. Singing since he could talk and picking up Beethoven on the piano by ear while still in preschool, Keaton finally started his lifetime love affair with the guitar at age 12.

As a 17 year old out of high school, Keaton started thinking about college. He decided on The Evergreen State College, located in Olympia, Washington. The area, which has become known as a fertile breeding ground for music and art, proved perfect to set in motion his initiation into the immense world of music. It was there that Keaton started writing songs. He dove in headfirst, taking on courses ranging from 20th century classical composition to Indonesian gamelan music to jazz and quite a lot in between. Keaton's years at Evergreen not only introduced him to diverse global music but also taught him to incorporate everything into his own sensibilities. Major record labels have accused Keaton of being too diverse to contain.  less

The Hartford, CT-based band members range from 22-24 yrs old and have been

rotation at CT's largest radio stations, 96.5 WTIC and 95.7 WKSS. Renata has
shared the stage with Lifehouse, Howie Day, Avril Lavigne and Ashlee Simpson,
and headlined a national tour of its own.
