The blues is a very special kind of music, it has SOUL! I have quite a lot of fun playing it.

I wrote this piece in 2001, and my mother helped me name it. I now dedicate it to her, as she has passed on.

I heard this song by Alex (chudnovsky) and simply had to play along with it. I love it so much! Thank you for all your beautiful works Alex!

A classical composition I wrote a few years ago.

This one is a little bit different to my other classical compositions, as I am playing it with a backing track, when I wrote this piece the idea was to   more...have me play with a little Quartet, as I don't have a quartet handy, I thought I would play along with the backing track.

Music: Agustin Barrios 1- Preludio 2 - Anadante religioso 3 - Allegro Solemne Guitar: Cesar Amaro This piece was composed in the autumn of 1921 in Montevideo, Uruguay and was dedicated to the Catedral   more...Metropolitana of Montevideo. Agustin Barrios was in that moment, spending a few days at a hotel called ABC, located on the streets of Sarandi and Alzaibar, a short distance from said Cathedral. It was composed in the beginning with 2 movements, and has for subtitle "Distico Sacro". Afterwards in 1938 in Cuba, he composed a Prelude, that after having played it solo for a time, he decided to add it to his old work, The Catedral. Here I present the three movements.
Obra compuesta en otoño de 1921 en Montevideo - Uruguay y dedicada a la Catedral Metropolitana de Montevideo.
Agustín Barrios estaba en ese momento pasando unos dias en un hotel llamado ABC, hubicado en las calles Sarandí y Alzaibar, a pocas distancia de dicha Catedral.
Fue compuesta en un comienzo con 2 movimientos y tiene como subtitulo "Distico Sacro" luego en 1938 en Cuba compone un preludio, que despues de haberlo tocado solo durante un tiempo resuelve agregar a su antigua obra La Catedral.

My mother died recently of cancer. It was so sudden. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and less than 2 weeks later she was gone. LIfe is so fragile. This video expresses some of the emotions that I have   more...been experiencing over these past two weeks. My mother and stepfather were married for 22 years. I watched him agonize over losing the love of his life. He told me that he would rather it had been him instead of her. I doubted the existence of that kind of intense love until I watched him these past two weeks. He never left her side.Mi madre murió recientemente con el cáncer. Sucedió tan rapido. Nos dijeron que ella tenía cáncer en sus pulmónes y ella murió en menos de 2 semanas. La vida es tan frágil. Este vídeo expresa algunas de las emociones que he estado experimentando durante estas últimas dos semanas. Mi madre y padrastro habían sido casados hace 22 años. Lo miré agonizando sobre perdiendo el amor de su vida. Dudé la existencia de eso tipo de amor intenso hasta que lo miré dentro de estas últimas dos semanas. Él nunca dejó su lado. Él me dijo que él deseaba que él hubiera muerto en vez de ella.  less
