Me and my friend practice all day. All this footage was made in one day. I had to reshoot it twice to make it look good. I edited it so it could fit to the music. Anyway, this is what I do for work. I have fun! Not many people would do this. I hope you love this.

Immanuel Kant was a Prussian philosopher and metaphysician. In the way that most of the early Greek thought was based on Socrates, most of the later German philosophy is based on Kant. This essay, written   more...in 1795, puts forth a plan for a lasting peace between nations and peoples. Kant puts forth necessary means to any peace, and argues that nations can be brought into federation with one another without loss of sovereignty.

It’s an interesting fact to note that all 6 requirements for peace Kant pointed to in his essay are being entirely neglected today.


The main points of his essay:

1) “No conclusion of peace shall be held to be valid as such, when it has been made with the secret reservation of the material for a future war”

2) “No state having an existence by itself- whetever it be small or large-shall be acquirable by another state through inheritance, exchange, purchase or donation.”

3) “Standing armies shall be entirely abolished in the course of time”

4) “No national debts shall be contracted in connection with the external affairs of the state.”

5) “No state shall intermeddle by force with the constitution or government of another state.”

6) “No state at war with another shall adopt such modes of hostility as would necessarily render mutual confidence impossible in a future peace”

This is a slightly 'cleaned up' video of Sirius/Eye In The Sky. The World Liberty Concert was held on 8 May 1995 and commemorated the 50th anniversary of VE-Day, the liberation of Europe. The venue for   more...the concert was Arnhem, the Netherlands, near the John Frost bridge, the bridge immortalized in the film `A Bridge Too Far'. The idea for the WLC was conceived by 25 year old Dutchman Arno Geul, who, at an early stage, decided Alan Parsons was the perfect Musical Director for the show. Apart from (not entirely live) performances of the Alan Parsons Band (with Chris Thompson and Mick Mullins on vocals), Candy Dulfer, Art Garfunkel, UB40 and many others (including an 80 piece orchestra and a local choir), the show consists of military parades, airshows and a narration by Walter Cronkite, the legendary war correspondent and later news anchorman. The Alan Parsons Band performed a number of well-known songs (Sirius/Breakaway, Old and Wise, The Gold Bug, Sirius/Eye in the Sky) plus some new material commissioned for the show (among which White Dawn) and also accompanied Dulfer, Joe Cocker and Art Garfunkel on their segments. The show was televised live in 40 countries, was attended by approximately 85.000 people and is about two hours long.  less
